My Wish List For Obama

Now that Obama is the president elect and soon to be the US president, here is my short wish list for him:

#1 Re-sign Kyoto or it's newest version

# 2 Pass a constitutional amendment that prohibits the US from disobeying International Law, irrespective of US national Interest.

# 3 Remove Vito power from UN security council, IMF, and the World Bank.

#4 Improve the US record in the area of Human Rights

#5 Remove the extra powers granted to the US president under Bush and pass a constitutional amendment to make sure that no future president can by-pass the system of checks and balances.

And while this list is somewhat short, any single task in it would be an extremely huge undertaking in the right direction.

I am not very optimist that any of this would ever happen, even for a cool president like Obama.

You don't have to be an optimistic to get that but a dreamer with daily mental trips :-)

I was happy one of his first acts was to order Guantanamo to close.

yes to all these wishes! it's been kind of depressing to be american for quite a while...the optimism many of us feel at obama's election is the natural reaction to years of being embarrassed by bush.
